HIFU Skin Tightening and Contouring
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) tightens up the skin around the face, neck, jowls and brow - reducing wrinkles and fine lines, and rejuvenating the complexion.
This non-invasive procedure uses high-frequency waves to heat deep beneath the skin's surface, and kickstart collagen production. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen; this natural protein boosts elasticity (the key to plump and healthy-looking skin) and strengthens the structure of the face, tightening sagging skin or smoothing out wrinkles. HIFU essentially works as a nonintrusive face lift - it even targets the same facial area that a plastic surgeon would operate on, without any incisions.

"A single session to begin with, with the potential for 1-3 sessions within a 12 month period. If you are working back from an event, aim to have your HIFU at least 3 months before. I love the tightening that happens much sooner than that, but, essentially, the more weeks we have, the better. You wont be falling asleep to prepare yourself for a little sensation. The treatment tends to work best on people older than 30 with moderate skin laxity. The treatment is unlikely to be effective if your skin has become very lax or “saggy”, though your clinician can give you advice on whether you fall into this category. HIFU is not suitable for people with lesions or severe damage to the treatment area, metallic implants, or severe acne. Younger skin (20-30 year olds) can also benefit from HIFU, helping to restore the jawline and target any stubborn fatty deposits under the jaw area."
